What does it mean to be a member of Bhavana Learning Group?

Membership at Bhavana Learning Group involves participation in a learning community of self-discovery, shared inquiry, and practice.

Members receive resources and invitations, but more importantly, they enter a steady rhythm that supports the cultivation of inner wisdom over time.

Each tier represents a different depth of engagement. All are complete ways of belonging.

What is included in the Free Membership (Tier 1)?

Tier 1 establishes belonging and rhythm.

Members receive:

  • The Wisdom Weekly Digest
  • Access to blogs and practices
  • Subscription to Substack
  • Access to the Slack community
  • Participation in the weekday 5-minute sit

This tier introduces shared language, presence, and continuity. Many members remain here for a long time.

How do I know if Tier 2 is right for me?

Tier 2 supports intentional learning and relational practice.

In addition to Tier 1, it includes:

  • A monthly Coaches Salon
  • A weekly Practice Field
  • Two Learning Dialogues per year

If you are drawn to structured inquiry and practicing with others, Tier 2 may be a natural next step.

What distinguishes Tier 3 from Tier 2?

Tier 3 supports direction and deepening.

In addition to Tier 2, it includes:

  • Monthly Dharma Sessions
  • Two Bodhi Garden sessions per year

Tier 3 is for those who experience this work as a serious path of formation and wish to orient their commitments more intentionally.

Am I expected to move through the tiers over time?

That depends.

Each tier is a complete way of belonging. Movement is neither assumed nor required.

Some members remain in Tier 1 until they feel drawn into shared practice or deeper inquiry. Membership reflects readiness and direction, not progression toward specific goals.

Can I change tiers later?

Yes.

You may move into a different tier as your level of engagement changes. This work unfolds over time, and membership is designed to support that unfolding — not constrain it.

What is the difference between the Learning Dialogue (Tier 2) and the Bodhi Garden (Tier 3)?

The Learning Dialogue focuses on refining practice. It offers space to explore selected distinctions and inquire into how they are lived in daily life. Tier 2 includes two 60-minute sessions per year and offers great awareness with practice.

The Bodhi Garden focuses on commitments and direction. It offers a more intimate space to revisit intentions and reflect on how commitments are shaping your life. Tier 3 includes two 90-minute sessions per year and offers great alignment with comments
