TWO-PART SERIES: Exploring Spirituality in Coaching

PART 1: Recognizing Spirituality as a Core Capacity for Being Human

What do we mean by spirituality in the context of coaching?

In part 1 of this two-part series, Tony Zampella will guide us in developing a working definition and a practical framework for spirituality that we can apply to coaching. Together, we will establish a grounded understanding of spirituality beyond religion, belief systems, or surface-level practices.

Clarifying our exploration: Rather than framing spirituality as positivity, calm, or self-improvement, we will explore it as a shift in awareness. This shift reveals how our perception of reality is shaped—and often distorted—by ego. This foundation moves beyond abstract ideas to explore how spiritual awareness supports cultivating wisdom for clarity in discernment. At its core, spirituality is not something we attain or adopt, but something we recognize.

Attendees will leave with:

  • A practical framework for recognizing the essence of spiritual awareness,
  • Coaching functions to cultivate this capacity in ourselves and our clients.
